The Central Government has appointed two judicial members and four expert members to the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

Following are the newly appointed members:

Judicial Members 

Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain, Former Judge, High Court of Delhi, presently serving as Member in NCDRC.

Justice Umesh Chandra Sharma, Former Judge, High Court of Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad), presently serving as Judicial Member, AFT, Regional Branch, Chandigarh.

Expert Members

Shri Sudhir Kumar Chaturvedi, IFoS (Retd.) (GJ: 1986), Retired as PCCF & HoFF, Government of Gujarat

Shri Ishwar Singh, IFS (Retd.) (AGMUT:1988), Retired as PCCF, Government of NCT of Delhi

Dr. Sujit Kumar Bajpayee, Member CAQM and former Joint Secretary (Lateral Entry), MoEFCC

Shri Prashant Gargava, Retired as Director (Scientist 'F'- Control of Pollution), National Clean Air Programme, MoEFCC, New Delhi and Former Member-Secretary, Central Pollution Control Board
