The 2025 edition of the prestigious AK Sen Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge of the Supreme Court of India. The event is scheduled for 7th November 2025 at 7:00 PM at the India International Centre (IIC), Multi-Purpose Hall,New Delhi.

An interactive discussion will precede the lecture, featuring an eminent panel comprising Justice Joymalya Bagchi (Judge, Supreme Court of India), Mr. Jayanta Mitra (Senior Advocate and Former Advocate General, West Bengal), and Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Senior Advocate). The discussion will be moderated by Mr. Sanjiv Sen,Senior Advocate .

About Ashok Kumar Sen

Ashok Kumar Sen was an outstanding Indian lawyer and politician and remains India's longest-serving Union Law Minister. He served as the Law Minister under Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, holding office across different tenures from 1957 to 1989. Sen played a key role in shaping several legal reforms in post-independence India.

A distinguished lawyer, he was known for his expertise in all branches of the law and his strong advocacy skills, representing high-profile cases in the Supreme Court. Sen was also a Member of Parliament, both in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, for 4 decades, and contributed significantly to India's legal and political landscape during his career
