Three advocates–Deepak Khot, Amit Seth and Pavan Dwivedi, were sworn in as Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on Friday (May 30).

The Central Government had on Monday notified the appointments of seven advocates–including the three Madhya Pradesh High Court appointees, as judges of various high courts in the country.
Justice Deepak Khot was born in Gwalior on March 3, 1975. He was enrolled as an advocate in the year 2000. His practice spanned the Supreme Court, Madhya Pradesh High Court, District Courts and Consumer Forums. He has represented many eminent political personalities and several prestigious educational institutions. He also served as the Chief Legal Adviser and Chief Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation of Gwalior, Gwalior Development Authority, Gwalior Trade Fair Authority, Gwalior Smart City Development Corporation and MP Housing Board. He also served the State of MP as a Government Advocate for the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior Bench from 2010 to 2011 and again from 2020 to the present.
Justice Amit Seth was born on March 15, 1975 in Jabalpur. He commenced his practice under Senior Advocate Shri Sanjay Agarwal. He has appeared before significant forums like High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Central Administrative Tribunal, National Green Tribunal, Arbitration Tribunal and more. He has represented prestigious institutions like MP Power Transmission Company, MP State Mining Corporation and several universities and public sector bodies. He was designated as a Senior Advocate in December 2024. He served as the Deputy Advocate General and Additional Advocate General for the State of Madhya Pradesh.
Justice Pavan Dwivedi practiced as an advocate which spanned from Indirect Taxation to Constitutional matters, Service Law, Income Tax, Civil and Criminal matters, Election Law, Arbitration, Coprorate, Industrial Law and Panchayat Disputes. He has representation esteemed instituions including Madhya Pradesh Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation Limited, Municipal Council Guna, Municipal Corporation Gwalior. He has been also appointed as amicus curiae in matters of public importance including food adulteration, cleanliness in Gwalior and ATM Security.
