Essential Qualification and Experience

• Sound understanding of a broad range of laws and regulations, their application, and ability to apply legal principles to find workable solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Director – Legal, and General Counsel in handling primarily disputes and contentious matters. Your work will involve:

• Formulating responses to contentious matters initiated by third parties (e.g., clients, regulators, stakeholders, employees, etc.)

• Helping to initiate legal proceedings were determined by the Firm.

• Advising on and/or helping to conduct internal inquiries, investigations, etc.

• Reporting and managing reporting systems and processes on an ongoing basis.

• Proactively helping to manage risks and, to the extent practicable, mitigating the risks, improving processes.

• Research on various legal positions, case laws, etc. and advising on the legal position.

• Keeping abreast with relevant applicable laws and impact it may have on relevant services/practices etc and supporting in taking steps to comply/mitigate risks.

• Coordinating internally and with external law firms etc, as may be necessary for handling dispute matters

• Advising on other laws such as Privacy, POSH, etc.

• Drive projects for the Reputation & Risk Office/Conduct and Crisis teams. Supporting other Functions in matters such as clients and markets, etc. and other matters.
