The 4th edition of the competition focused on topical legal issues and subjects ranging from medical negligence, statutory and precedential issues surrounding medical termination of pregnancy (Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971)), The Maternity Benefits Act, 1961 and rights of born-alive foetus which involved research into many international conventions like the UN Child Rights Convention and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and related issues in medical jurisprudence.
The competition involved a memorial qualifier round, following which the top 16 teams advanced to the oral rounds spanning three days. The oral rounds of the moot court competition were held online from 28th March 2025 to 30th March 2025. The competition saw the participation of 66 teams from across the country, including prestigious institutions like the NALSAR, RGNUL, MNLU, TNNLU, NUALS and CNLU.
The finals were adjudicated by a bench comprised of Justice Krishna Murari, Former Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Adv. Nachiketh Joshi, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Mr. Amit Yadav, Senior Technical Advisor, Tobacco Control- The Union, South-East Asia, New Delhi. The eminent judges declared the team from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, the competition's winners.
