The 7th RGNUL National Sports and Entertainment Law Mediation Competition, 2025 was organized by the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, RGNUL (CADR) and spanned over a period of 3 days, from 25th to 27th April 2025. The event saw participants competing with full vigour and encompassed two Preliminary Rounds which were followed by Quarter-Final rounds, Semi-Final rounds and culminated with a Grand Finale round. The event featured 18 universities. Moreover, the event was graced by the presence of more than 40 professionals who acted as Expert Assessors who displayed their depth in the field of dispute resolution by providing their judgment and feedback.
The parties navigated the dynamics at play and attempted to preserve not only their relationship, but also their interests. They displayed understanding of their positions, in what turned out to be great mediation sessions.
The final rounds were adjudged by Ms. Prerna Kohli, Founding Partner, Zeus Law Associates, Mr. Vivek Jha, Partner at Fox Mandal, Mr. Ajay Thomas, an independent arbitrator, Mr. Rajiv Shankar Dwivedi, Advocate on Record, Mr. Abhimanyu Chopra, Mr. Gokul Narayan, CEO of Asian School of Cyber Laws, Ms. Radhika Bishwajit Dubey, standing counsel at the Delhi High Court.
The competition was held in association with Zeus Law Associates as Principal Knowledge Partner, an establishment known for its commitment to dispute resolution. Further, the event witnessed the Asian School of Cyber Laws and The Pact, as Training Partners, Manupatra, as Knowledge Partner, LiveLaw, as Media Partner, and Markanda Advocates, as Expert Partner.
