Supreme Court Takes Suo Motu Cognisance Over 'Scandalous Remarks' Made By Varprad Media Editor In Chief Ajay Shukla

The Supreme Court will hear tomorrow a Suo Motu Petition against the remarks made by Editor-in-Chief of Varprad Media, Ajay Shukla.

The official causelist of the bench of CJI BR Gavai and Justice AG Masih shows the matter listed for hearing tomorrow at item 28 with the title: IN RE: SCANDALOUS REMARKS MADE BY MR. AJAY SHUKLA, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, VARPRAD MEDIA PVT. LTD., A DIGITAL CHANNEL vs. SMC(Crl) No. 000001 / 2025 

At present it is not certain against which 'scandalous remarks' has the bench initiated the motion of Suo Motu Criminal Contempt.

However, it may be noted that Shukla recently posted a video making remarks against Justice Bela M Trivedi. 

Shukla has been the Editor In Chief of Varprad Media for over 3 years now. Varprad Media is based in Chandigarh.
