As part of the ongoing Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, a Debate Competition for Judicial Officers of the District Judiciary was held on August 30, 2025, at the High Court Auditorium. The topic for the debate was “Impact of Technology in Crime,” which saw participation from judicial officers across the state.
The event was joined by of Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh, who also presided over the prize distribution ceremony. Shri Ishan Vyas secured the first prize, followed by Ms. Soumya Rai in second place, and Ms. Namita Minj Bhaskar in third place. The Chief Justice also presented certificates of participation to all the remaining participants, appreciating their efforts.
Addressing the gathering, The Chief Justice commended the participants for their arguments, emphasizing the increasing role of technology in both facilitating and combating crime. Mr. Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh, applauded the young judges and advocates for presenting compelling and thought-provoking arguments on some of the most pressing issues of our time. He commended their clarity of thought, depth of understanding, and commitment to engaging with legal challenges with intellectual conviction.
