    The book "[In] Complete Justice? The Supreme Court at 75" published by Juggernaut Books will be launched on August 27 at New Delhi.

    The book contains 24 essays written by various legal luminaries.

    The book was edited by Senior Advocate and former High Court Chief Justice S Muralidhar, assisted by Advocates Ninni Susan Thomas and Maitreya Subramanium.

    The book launch will be accompanied by a conversation between Justice Abhay Oka, Prof.Gopal Guru and S Muralidhar, moderated by Manisha Pande.

    The book features the essays written by Justice AP Shah, Justice MB Lokur, Sr Adv Raju Ramachandran, Usha Ramanathan, Adv Rohan J Alva, Justice S Ravindra Bhat, Sr Adv Rebecca Mammen John, Sr Adv Nitya Ramakrishnan, Adv Vrinda Grover, Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Prof G Mohan Gopal, P Sainath, Justice K Chandru, Justice Gautam Patel, Sr Adv Arvind P Datar, Adv Gautam Bhatia, Adv Suhrith Parthasarathy, Adv Amit George, Sr Adv S Muralidhar, Sr Adv Gopal Subramanium & Kamala Sankaran.

    The book also features interviews with Prof. Upendra Baxi, Sr Adv Indira Jaising and Sr Adv Sriram Panchu.

    The essays critically analyse the role played by the Supreme Court in 75 years of the Indian Republic and examine to what extent the Court has fulfilled its role as a counter-majoritarian body capable of checking majoritarian impulses and the excesses of State power.
