    The Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy, Bilaspur, inaugurated its 200 seater Vivekananda Auditorium. The Chief Guest, Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh & Patron-In-Chief Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy, inaugurated the Vivekananda Auditorium. The Chief Justice also inaugurated five projects of the Computerization Committee of High Court of Chhattisgarh, aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure and enhancing access to justice.

    The occasion was attended by Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal, Justice Parth Prateem Sahu, Justice Rajani Dubey, Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas, Justice Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi, Justice Deepak Kumar Tiwari, Justice Sachin Singh Rajput, Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey, Justice Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal, Justice Arvind Kumar Verma, Justice Bibhu Datta Guru, Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad, Judge, High Court Of Chhattisgarh.

    The Chief Justice emphasized that this is not merely a building of brick and mortar, but a symbol of commitment to the ideals of justice, legal education, and the continuous enhancement of the judicial system. He also highlighted that the Vivekananda Auditorium, equipped with modern audio-visual facilities and advanced infrastructure, is designed to host seminars, conferences, training programmes, workshops, and various academic as well as cultural events of the Academy. Its inauguration marks a step forward in strengthening Judicial education and capacity-building of Judicial Officers and stakeholders in the justice delivery system.

    The Chief Justice while inaugurating the projects of the Computerization Committee urged that judiciary today is passing through a transformative phase. Technology is no longer a matter of choice, but a necessity to ensure accessibility, efficiency, and transparency in the dispensation of justice. With the implementation of these initiatives, litigants, lawyers, and judicial officers across the State will benefit from faster processes, user-friendly interfaces, and access to essential services.

    The five projects unveiled were:

    1. E-Office Project 
    2. E-Certified Copy for District Courts 
    3. Virtual Court (Transport Department) 
    4. New Website of the High Court of Chhattisgarh 
    5. Free Wi-Fi Facility at the High Court Premises 

    Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Justice highlighted that the projects are not merely technological upgrades but instruments of empowerment. He noted that they represent the judiciary's resolve to bridge the gap between the institution and the people, making justice delivery faster, more accessible, and citizen-centric. The Chief Justice also placed on record his appreciation for the efforts of the Computerization Committee, the technical teams, the officers of the Registry, and all those who worked to make these projects a reality.He wished that the Academy will be able to expand its reach, organize larger and more impactful programmes, and foster an even greater culture of learning

    The event was attended by the Incharge Registrar General & other Registry Officers of High Court, Member Secretary of State Legal Services Authority and other Officers of CGSLSA, Trainee Civil Judges, Officers of Public Work Department, Officers of Electrical and Mechanical Department.Welcome address was delivered by Director of Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy & concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Additional Director of Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Justice, Judges, and all dignitaries.
