    On Saturday, 10 lawyers, 14 Judicial Officers took oath as judges of the Allahabad High Court raising its strength to 110, including the Chief Justice. The sanctioned strength of the Allahabad High Court is 160 judges.

    The Central Government, on Friday, 26th September 2025, notified the appointment of 10 lawyers and 14 judicial officers as judges of the Allahabad High Court.

    8. Kunal Ravi Singh, Advocate

    9. Indrajeet Shukla, Advocate

    10. Satya Veer Singh, Advocate

    11. Dr. Ajay Kumar-II, Judicial Officer

    12. Chawan Prakash, Judicial Officer

    13. Divesh Chandra Samant, Judicial Officer

    14. Prashant Mishra-I, Judicial Officer

    15. Tarun Saxena, Judicial Officer

    16. Rajeev Bharti, Judicial Officer

    17. Padam Narain Mishra, Judicial Officer

    On September 2, the Supreme Court Collegium recommended the appointment of 12 lawyers and 14 judicial officers as judges of the Allahabad High Court. However, names of 2 lawyers have been withheld by the Government.
