    The Central Government on Tuesday notified the transfer of two Delhi High Court judges, Justice Arun Monga and Tara Vitasta Ganju.

    Justice Ganju has been transferred to Karnataka High Court. Justice Monga has been transferred to Rajasthan High Court.

    “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Ms. Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju, Judge, Delhi High Court, to be a Judge of Karnataka High Court and to direct her to assume charge of her office in the Karnataka High Court,” the notification concerning Justice Ganju reads.

    “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Arun Monga, Judge, Delhi High Court, to be a Judge of Rajasthan High Court and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the Rajasthan High Court,” the other notification states.

    Justice Ganju sworn in as Delhi High Court judge on May 18, 2022. Her name was recommended by the Supreme Court collegium in the year 2020, followed by reiteration.

    Justice Monga had sworn in as Delhi High Court judge on July 21.
