The Gujarat High Court on Friday morning will observe 2-minute silence to mourn the demise of victims of the Air India flight crash which occurred on Thursday afternoon in Ahmedabad
A circular issued by the Registrar General on Thursday states that the managing committee of the Gujarat High Court Advocates' Association had requested to observe 2-minute silence over the tragic incident and Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal was pleased to accept this request.
"Hon'ble the Chief Justice has been pleased to accept the said request and it is directed to inform that Hon'ble Judges, Lawyers, members of the staff and all other persons present in the Court premises and in the Registry shall observe two minutes' silence at 10.58 a.m., tomorrow, i.e. 13.06.2025, to mourn sad demise of victims of tragic plane crash at Ahmedabad on 12.06.2025.
To indicate the commencement of two minutes' silence, siren will be sounded at 10.58 a.m. and end at 11.00 a.m," the circular states.
