The Himachal Pradesh High Court today received a threat about the possible presence of suicide attackers with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at the Court premises.

In response to the potential threat, the premises were promptly evacuated to ensure the safety of court staff and lawyers. Following the evacuation, the Shimla police, accompanied by a bomb disposal squad, carried out a comprehensive search of the entire area for any suspicious items or individuals..

As per media reports, since the court was on vacation, there were very few people inside the building apart from some staff members. After an intensive 4-hour search operation, no such explosive devices or threats were found, and the alert was deemed to be a false alarm.
