Sukanth Suresh P. who is alleged of being involved in the death of his 24-year colleague and girlfriend Megha Madhusoodhanan has approached the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
Megha Madhusoodhanan, a Security Assistant/ Executive with the Bureau of Immigration at Trivandrum Airport reportedly died by suicide by jumping in front of a train in Pettah Railway station. The family alleges that she was financially exploited by Sukanth and a major portion of her salary was transferred to him. The family also alleged that the deceased took the extreme step after Sukanth withdrew from the relationship.
Sukanth has so far not been made an accused in the case.
He submitted in the petition that the emotional stress the deceased suffered was due to her parents opposing to their relationship.
