The Center has notified the appointment of Judicial Officer Smt. Ramesh Kumari as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The official notification of appointment was issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. It stated,
“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Smt. Ramesh Kumari, to be an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court from the date she assumes charge of her office till 09.06.2027 i.e. the date of her superannuation on attaining the age of 62 years.”
The Supreme Court's Collegium had on August 7, 2025 approved the proposal for appointment of Ms. Ramesh Kumari as a Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
