Bar Council of Rajasthan (“BCR”) opened its extension counter in Jaipur which was inaugurated by the High Court's Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma and Chairman of Bar Council of India (BCI) Manan Kumar Mishra on Friday (October 10) 2025, in the premises of the High Court.
The Jaipur bench of the Rajasthan High Court began functioning on January 30, 1977. However, despite the fact that thousands of advocates have been practicing here, all had to travel to the headquarters of BCR, in Jodhpur, for administrative work like registration, renewal of registration, application for welfare schemes etc.
The move would make these things much easier for advocates as well as fresh law graduates in districts around Jaipur, like Tonk, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Nagaur, Churu, etc. making these services offered by BCR more easily accessible.
