About

Advocate Santosh Kumar is arguing counsel before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, arbitral tribunals, and other judicial and quasi-judicial fora in New Delhi.

Practice areas include high-stakes commercial litigation, complex arbitration matters (domestic and international), and a broad range of civil litigation such as tenders, writ petitions, service matters, education and constitutional matters, maintaining a fairly even distribution between meticulous drafting and court room advocacy.

He is Standing counsel/Panel counsel for renowned public sector bodies and Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India.

He is Author of publications on law, politics, and cinema, with a particular interest in the intersection of legal thought and broader socio-political discourse.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Applicant must have prior litigation experience of two to five years.

Roles, Responsibilities and Skills

• Capacity to handle big drafts and pleadings needed in heavy commercial and civil disputes including arbitration matters.

• Handle high stakes commercial and other disputes.

• Ability to think and make decisions independently.

• The Applicant will be given varied experience in drafting, client handling, researching and court appearances to develop her/ his skills.

• The experience of the Applicant must be primarily in the civil litigation area.

• The Applicants should have good communication skills (both oral and written).
