Tata Institute of Social Sciences invites application for the post of Legal Fellow (Male) for Kolhapur District and Legal Fellow (Female) for Thane District at Prayas, a field action project of the Centre for Criminology and Justice, School of Social Work, TISS, Mumbai.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Candidate should have LL.B. degree.

• Sanad for practicing in Maharashtra.

• Field experience in legal aid and criminal justice is desirable.

• Ability to read, write and speak in Marathi, English Hindi.

• Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, Excel, emails and the internet.

• Preference may be given to lawyers with 2-3 years of legal practice.

• Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.

• During contract period, Fellow shall not take up any other employment without the prior permission of the employer.
