The Square Circle Clinic, NALSAR is looking to hire two full-time Consultants (Research) in New Delhi. One position is for a Lead Consultant (Research), and the other is for a Consultant (Research).

Lead Consultant (Research)

Educational qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree in law is mandatory
• A Master's degree in law or social sciences is mandatory.

PQE: A minimum of 2 years is mandatory

Location: New Delhi

Job Description:

1. Contribute to the development of The Square Circle Clinic's research agenda
2. Supervise the work of the research team, including data collection, fieldwork, synthesis of data and dissemination of research findings through high impact publications
3. Publish policy briefs and articles for peer reviewed journals on matters pertinent to the Clinic's research agendas
4. Publish shorter written pieces across media outlets on issues pertinent to the Clinic's work
5. Undertake and sustain engagements with key state agencies that work in criminal justice for the building and development of projects
6. Present the work of the Clinic at appropriate fora
7. Represent the Clinic at national and international fora
8. Contribute to the institutional strategy and mentorship in the Clinic, supporting researchers and overall development of the Clinic
9. Any other work necessary for the aims of the Clinic

Remuneration: Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The minimum pay for this role is Rs. 80,000/- per month.

3. Contribute to the analysis of research findings and its dissemination through reports and policy briefs
4. Publish articles on peer reviewed journals on issues pertinent to the Clinic's research agenda
5. Publish shorter written pieces across media outlets on issues pertinent to the Clinic's work
6. Represent the Clinic at national and international fora

Remuneration: Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The minimum pay for this role is Rs. 65,000/- per month.
