    Essential Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in law, Computer Science or Information Security with 8-10 years of experience.

    • Strong understanding of DPDPA India, GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    • Experience with privacy management tools and systems is a plus.

    • Experience in evaluating risks in technical controls which are preventive and detective in nature

    • Must be able to clearly articulate complex privacy topics to larger stakeholders

    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Manage Data Principal Access Requests (DPARs) and other rights requests from data principals, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable laws.

    • Coordinate with internal departments and cross function stakeholders (Legal, IT, HR, etc.) to gather necessary information for fulfilling requests.

    • Maintain detailed records of all requests and responses, ensuring audit readiness.

    • Develop and update procedures for handling data principal rights requests and grievance requests.

    • Define and implement escalation protocols for unresolved or complex Data Principal Rights requests.

    • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average response time, SLA adherence rate, and request volume trends.

    • Define & operationalize metrics/KPIs for tracking request volumes, resolution times, and compliance.

    • Provide training and guidance to employees on handling data principal rights.

    • Monitor regulatory developments and update internal processes accordingly.

    • Simulate DSARs requests and identify areas of improvements

    • Monitor SLAs for responding to Data Principal Rights and take appropriate actions in case of any breach in SLAs.

    • Support investigations into complaints or breaches related to data principal rights.
