Dua Associates Advises Shell Group In Its 100% Acquisition Of Raj Petro Specialities Private Limited

Dua Associates advised Shell Group in its recently completed 100% acquisition of Raj Petro Specialities Private Limited from the Brenntag Group. Raj Petro Specialities Private Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of petro-speciality products catering to both domestic and international markets, with business partners in about 100 countries across the globe. This acquisition supports Shell Lubricants' bid to grow its portfolio and customer base in India, which is one of its key growth markets.
Dua Associates advised the Shell Group on all aspects of the transaction including conducting due diligence, structuring of the transaction, drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents and closing assistance and advisory. The firm also assisted Shell Group in obtaining the unconditional approval from the Competition Commission of India for the transaction.
