Lexport Appoints Anirban Roy As Its Chief Operating Officer

Lexport, one of India's law firms, has appointed Anirban Roy, a former editor with Reuters and The Wall Street Journal, to its leadership team. With over two decades of experience in global and Indian newsrooms and having covered diverse boardrooms, Roy brings his blend of editorial leadership and insight covering Indian and international business and corporate landscapes to Lexport.

His appointment marks a step in the firm's commitment to integrating multidisciplinary expertise into its team and services. Roy's career spans all formats of journalism and across some of the media organisations, with stints at Reuters, WSJ, Network18, and Business Today.

At Lexport, Roy will serve as the Chief Operating Officer, focusing on operations, communications, client relationships, and strategic initiatives. His role will also involve strengthening the firm's knowledge and thought leadership initiatives and enhancing the firm's interface with media and corporate stakeholders.
