Call For Submissions | NPAC Satya Hegde Essay Competition On Arbitration 2025

Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC) announces the Satya Hegde Essay Competition on Arbitration. The competition is open to current students of Law in any College or University in India.

Topic: “The Scope for equitable reliefs in arbitration proceedings”

Word Limit: 2500 words (excluding footnotes)

Deadline: Friday, August 1, 2025 before 06.00 pm

Guidelines

1. One entry per person.

2. Joint authorship is not allowed.

3. Essay must be original and unpublished work of the author.

4. Plagiarism in any form will lead to immediate disqualification.

5. All references, quotations, and borrowed ideas must be properly cited using a Bluebook format.

6. Essay must be in Times New Roman font, typed in 1.5 spacing, size 12 for main text and size 10 for footnotes.

7. Essay can be sent in word doc. or pdf. format.

8. First page should contain the details viz; Name, College or University you are studying, Postal address, Mobile no. & Mail id.

9. Entries must be enclosed with a Bonafide certificate specifically issued for the essay purpose from the Dean/ Principle of your College/University.

10. Jury's decision is final.

Prize Money

• First Prize – Rs.10,000/-
• Second Prize – Rs.7,500/-
• Third Prize – Rs.5,000/-
• Prize winners will be announced on August 12, 2025
• Prize winners will be awarded their prizes in the International Conference hosted by NPAC at New Delhi on Saturday September 6, 2025.
• They will be provided to & fro train charges in III A/C.
• Conference Registration fee will be exempted for the prize winners.
