3rd Dr. K. L. Thakral Memorial Moot Court Competition 2025-26 By Oriental University, Indore

The Faculty of Law, Oriental University, Indore, has been promoting legal education through academic excellence, research, and exposure. The Dr. K. L. Thakral Memorial Moot Court Competition is one of its flagship annual events, aimed at nurturing advocacy, research, and drafting skills among law students.

The 3rd Dr. K. L. Thakral Memorial Moot Court Competition 2025-26 provides law students with a platform to engage in legal research and present compelling oral arguments. This national-level competition brings together teams from institutions across India.

Theme

The competition focuses on contemporary issues in Constitutional Law, Environmental law and Cyber/AI Law, encouraging participants to explore evolving jurisprudence.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programs or LL.M. from recognized universities/institutions in India.

Registration Fee

• ₹3000 per team (without accommodation)
• ₹4500 per team (with accommodation)

Prizes

• Winner: ₹30,000 + Trophy + Certificates
• Runner-Up: ₹20,000 + Trophy + Certificates
• Best Memorial: ₹5,000 + Certificate
• Best Speaker: ₹5,000 + Certificate
• Best Researcher: ₹5,000 + Certificate

• Inaugural, Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals (On-Campus): 30th October 2025
• Final Round & Valedictory Ceremony (On-Campus): 31st October 2025

Interested teams must register through the official Google Form (link provided below) and submit the registration fee as per the brochure guidelines. Team codes and confirmation will be shared upon successful registration.
