National Law University Delhi Appoints Senior Advocate Harish Salve As Distinguished Professor

National Law University Delhi shares that noted lawyer and Jurist Senior Advocate Harish Salve has accepted its invitation to be Distinguished Professor. Mr Harish Salve apart from being a lawyer has a reputation for international commercial arbitration and litigation. His practise also encompasses public international law, human rights, constitutional matters, taxes and so on. He has represented the Government of India in number of crucial cases. Currently, he is King's Counsel in England and Wales. He has served as Solicitor General of India from 1999 to 2002.

Speaking about this notable development, Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, National Law University Delhi said that “Mr.Salve's association with National Law University Delhi will be inspirational to the students, researchers and faculty members”. He also stated that apart from delivering lectures in the university, he will also guide the academic vision of the University in the field of legal profession and practice.
