    Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat (DBRANLU), and V .V .Giri National Labour Institute (VVGNLI), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, are set to sign the already formalized Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a robust framework and open the path for academic collaborations and promote Research in the field of Labour Law.

    Mr. Ashok Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat, has welcomed the upcoming collaboration. He has expressed his deep commitment towards promoting and enhancing the quality of legal education and shown his passion in helping Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat, ascend as one of Top 5 National Law Universities in India, in near future.

    The MoU aims to foster academic excellence by facilitating the exchange of faculty members for specialized lectures, workshops, and joint research initiatives. Additionally, it promises to promote the reciprocal access to academic resources such as library facilities, research databases, and digital repositories, along with hosting the joint seminars, conferences, and specialized training programs. The partnership will also focus on developing integrated research projects on
    shared areas of interest, as well as creating advanced courses and curricula in labour law and related disciplines.
    "With the forthcoming implementation of new labour welfare legislation by the Central Government, the academic opportunities to conduct substantive research on labour law are tremendous. As all states and UTs are expected to complete harmonization of draft rules under
    the four labour codes soon, this MOU positions both institutions at the forefront of scholarly
    analysis of these transformative reforms," Says, Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Mishra, Professor of Law and Registrar of DBRANLU.
    He further emphasized on the fact that the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat , being a Centre of Excellence in legal education, intends to use this collaboration to
    drive pioneering research that links theoretical concepts with practical applications in the dynamic field of labour relations and welfare.
    This collaboration aims to help Students gain exposure to specialized knowledge in labour laws, industrial relations, and social security frameworks. Meanwhile, the faculty members shall be collaborating on research into emerging trends in the labour market and evolving regulatory
    frameworks. This collaboration thus strives to develop the curriculum in labour laws by incorporating practical insights by providing exposure into the functioning of real life applicability of such laws and also the theoretical perspectives through joint publications and policy-oriented research.
    This partnership represents a step forward in DBRANLU's commitment to create a comprehensive academic ecosystem that equips students to meet global challenges, while addressing critical national priorities in labour welfare and industrial relations.
