The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, through its Centre for Research in Alternative Dispute Resolution (CRADR), and the Arbitration & Corporate Law Review (ACLR) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 22, 2025.

The MoU was signed virtually by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Vice-Chancellor of NUSRL, and Mr. Abhay Raj, Editor-in-Chief of the Arbitration & Corporate Law Review. The signing ceremony was graced Dr. Jisu Ketan Pattanaik, Assistant Registrar, and Dr. Satyabrata Mishra, Assistant Professor and Faculty Convenor of CRADR-NUSRL, along with the Centre's Student Convenors.

The Arbitration and Corporate Law Review (ACLR), founded in 2019 by former students of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, under the guidance of Mr. Bodhisattwa Majumder (Senior Associate, Renata Partners), aims to promote critical discourse on commercial law reforms. Led by Mr. Abhay Raj (Associate, TLP Advisors), an eleven-member team with academic and writing backgrounds drives the initiative. ACLR is backed by a board of legal luminaries, academicians, professionals, and former members of the judiciary, and publishes insights on pressing commercial issues. Its blog and annual journal feature contributions from students, academicians, professionals, and practicing lawyers. ACLR has been ranked among the top arbitration law blogs globally.

This long-term partnership seeks to enhance leadership and engagement in the field of arbitration. As part of the collaboration, CRADR-NUSRL and ACLR will co-host arbitration-focused competitions, including an annual legal writing competition. This initiative aims to provide a platform for students, academicians, and practitioners from India and abroad to contribute to legal scholarship and demonstrate their analytical and research acumen.
