NLUJAA Organises The Ultimate Foreign LLM Webinar – A Global Roadmap For Law Students [14th-15th June]

'The Ultimate Foreign LLM Webinar: A Roadmap for Law Students' is a two-day by National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam an online event designed to offer guidance to law students and young legal professionals aspiring to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) degree abroad. Scheduled for 14th and 15th June 2025, this initiative will bring together alumni from top-tier institutions across five major jurisdictions; USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore. Through interactive sessions, the webinar will provide practical insights into the application process, statement of purpose writing, letters of recommendation, funding and scholarship opportunities, and the academic and professional journey of pursuing a foreign LLM.

National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA), the organizing institution, is a law university located in Guwahati. Established by the State Legislature of Assam under the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009, NLUJAA has been instrumental in promoting legal education and scholarship in the Northeastern region of India. The university is committed to empowering law students through academic excellence, professional training, and exposure to global legal developments.

Organized by the Academic Committee of NLUJAA, this webinar will feature sessions by accomplished alumni from globally reputed institutions including Harvard Law School, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Toronto, National University of Singapore, and the University of Melbourne. These speakers will share personal academic journeys, tips on navigating the admission process, and insights into how a foreign LLM can enhance legal careers both in India and internationally.
