    The Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA) successfully hosted a pivotal one-day workshop on 12th October 2025, focusing on "Strategizing and Monitoring Outreach and Awareness at Grassroots Level." The event was marked by the distinguished and gracious presence of Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

    The workshop, held in the august presence of Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, the Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, and Executive Chairman , RSLSA, brought together key figures in the state's legal aid framework, including all Secretaries of the District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs), Panel Lawyers, and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs).

    The primary objective of the session was to fine-tune and enhance the delivery mechanisms of legal aid services, ensuring they effectively penetrate the deepest levels of the community. The visit gains special significance as Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah has been requested by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) to guide and supervise the overarching implementation of legal services programmes across the State of Rajasthan.

    Direct Interaction On Grassroots Strategy

    A highlight of the workshop was the direct and engaging interaction between Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah and the Secretaries of the DLSAs. His Lordship personally interacted with each Secretary, holding focused discussions on region-specific strategies and innovative approaches required to meet the unique challenges of their respective districts.

    Justice Amanullah emphasized the imperative to move beyond general awareness campaigns and to truly connect with the marginalized. He provided clear and specific directions to reach out to meet ground-level issues and needs, emphasizing that legal aid must be tailored to address the tangible difficulties faced by citizens in remote and vulnerable areas. The discussion centered on integrating knowledge and innovation into the monitoring and execution of outreach programs. His Lordship also emphasised identifying the root problems and then addressing them with full dedication & understanding.

    Commitment To Effective Legal Aid

    Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma lauded the comprehensive participation and reiterated RSLSA's unwavering commitment to the constitutional mandate of equal justice. The workshop provided a valuable platform for the frontline functionaries-the Secretaries DLSAs, Panel Lawyers, and PLVs-to share their on-ground experiences and receive high-level guidance crucial for effective implementation. The session concluded with Mr. Hari Om Attri, Member Secretary, RSLSA, briefing His Lordship on the strategic 'Way Forward,' which envisions steps to integrate new approaches required by the changing times and diversities in the State. The Member Secretary conveyed the RSLSA's firm commitment to marshalling dedicated efforts toward realizing the goal of improved access to justice, guided by the directions of Justice Amanullah.

    The event concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and specific action plans aimed at strengthening the network of legal aid. It ensures that the most vulnerable sections of society are not only aware of their rights but are also able to access justice swiftly and without impediments.
