  • Centre Notifies Transfer Of 17 HC Judges Nearly Two Months After SC Collegium Recommendations

    The Central Government today (July 14) notified the transfer of 17 High Court Judges, out of the 22 transfer proposals the Supreme Court Collegium made on May 26.

    The following transfers have been approved by the Union :

    From Telangana High Court - Justice Sujoy Paul (parent High Court, Madhya Pradesh) transferred to Calcutta HC. Justice Tadakamalla Vinod Kumar transferred to the Madras High Court.

    From Allahabad High Court : (1) Justice Om Prakash Shukla transferred to Delhi HC; (2) Justice Jayant Banerji transferred to Karnataka HC; (3) Justice Vivek Chaudhary transferred to Delhi HC; (4) Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra transferred to P&H HC

    From Rajasthan High Court : (1) Justice Arun Kumar Monga (parent High Court P&H) transferred to Delhi HC; (2) Justice Shree Chandrashekhar (parent High Court Jharkhand) transferred to Bombay HC

    From the Punjab and Haryana High Court : (1) Justice Sudhir Singh (parent High Court, Patna) transferred to Patna HC; (2) Justice Anil Kshetarpal transferred to Delhi HC; (3) Sanjeev Prakash Sharma (parent High Court, Rajasthan) transferred to Rajasthan HC

    From Madras High Court : (1) Justice Vivek Kumar Singh (parent High Court, Allahabad) transferred to MP HC; (2) Justice Battu Devanand (parent High Court, Andhra Pradesh) transferred to Andhra Pradesh HC

    From Gauhati High Court : (1) Justice Lanusungkum Jamir to Calcutta HC; (2) Justice Suman Shyam transferred to Bombay HC

    From Kerala High Court : Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh (parent High Court, Allahabad) transferred to Karnataka HC

    From Karnataka High Court: Justice V Kameswar Rao transferred to Delhi HC
