During his visit, Justice Gavai called on President Dharambeer Gokhool and discussed the multifaceted India–Mauritius partnership, with emphasis on educational collaboration and judicial cooperation.
He also met Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam. Their discussions focused on the vibrant cultural connect and strong people-to-people ties that underpin the longstanding bilateral relationship. Prime Minister Ramgoolam fondly recalled his recent state visit to India.
