      Acharya: the process started in March. It will get delayed and the entire session will be disrupted. Whole year will go.

      Counsel for petitioner: organisation like TCS is equipped to provide the centres.

      Acharya: If now it is held in one session it will become very chaotic. We won't be able to hold the exam on the schedule.

      Acharya: the exam is fixed on 15th June. All arrangements have been made. At this stage if you stay we will be going beyond the schedule which has been fixed by the supreme court. then the whole session will be interrupted.

      Acharya: there is no prejudice that is being cause to them.

      J Nath: how can it stay the same? there are different question papers. They can never be the same.

      Acharya: appropriate difficulty level of both the shift is kept at the same. After that there is normalization. So even if there is slight difference between difficulty level the marks are normalised.

      J Nath: undergraduate exam the number was much higher.

      Acharya: even for this exam we have very limited centres. Infrastructure for Wi-Fi good computers safety security etc. All possible problems have been considered and then this solution has been given.

      J Vikram Nath: why do you hold this exam in two shifts?

      Senior Advocate Maninder Acharya: the exam is held online. In 2024 NEET UG had to be cancelled due to malpractice. For online exam there are limited centres. All important examinations in which large number of candidates appear are held like this.

      Counsel: stream is decided based on this exam. It is based on rank. Even a one mark difference will decide whether I get my preferred stream - radiology, gynecology etc. It will make a huge difference on whether I get the University of my choice
