Dwivedi: 103 forms are for deletion, only 25 for inclusion

J Kant: Mostly on what ground they are seeking deletion?

Dwivedi: That they are dead...or they are saying my name is included somewhere else so please delete it

J Kant (to ECI): Suppose you find that for 100 out of 2000, there is some deficiency...you won't wait for Sept 25?

Dwivedi: No. It's an ongoing exercise. So far as RJD's IA...the assertion is not correct...only 10 claims have been submitted by RJD through its validly appointed BLAs...their only grievance is why not shown in the name of RJD. None other party, apart from RJD and CPIM, have assisted voters in filing objections

Dwivedi: 99.5% out of 7.24 crores people have filed documents. Most political parties and voters filing applications for deletion, not inclusion - something very strange

J Kant: We reiterate that whatever procedure is laid down in [the manual] that's a commitment by ECI, that has to be followed

Bhushan: They are not following that.

Bhushan: They have said that anybody who has submitted form is in draft list. many of these forms have not been filled by voters. Lots of applications being made by voters for deletion of their own names

J Kant: Assuming your xyz document is not accepted...

Bhushan: The list will come on sept 30

J Kant: No, list can't come on Sept 30.

Bhushan: If a person has filed form, it is assumed he is making declaration that he is citizen. Only address and age to be seen next. That is why, it is essential for Court to clarify...they have not uploaded forms as received from the voters. Unless I can see what is the form and document received...

J Kant: Through a Court order, we can't enhance status of Aadhaar. Whatever value attached to it by statute, alongwith judicial decisions, has to be accepted

Bhushan: They did not accept Aadhaar in first stage

J Kant: Only 1 issue today

Bhushan: There are some applications which were filed on Saturday, but they could not be listed. One issue is regarding extension of time. In RJD's application, there is also prayer to publicize orders, inform voters...another prayer is for ECI to accept Aadhaar cards for voters [who have submitted enumeration forms].
