Sudhanshu Trivedi (BJP) says that Islamic history reveals that there were many scholars who achieved great success for instance the map which helped Columbus travel the world was made by a Muslim, but now the algorithm has changed to the extent that these people now support Aurangzeb

Kharge points out that instead of Survey Commissioner to conduct preliminary inquire into the waqf property, the Gov first gave the authority to the Commissioner and now to an nominated member of the State above the authority of the collector.

"in a democracy, shouldn't the members be elected? now all nominated."

Kharge urges that the Gov withdraw the Bill.

Kharge adds that Gov has stopped 5 schemes for Muslims- Maulana Azad National Fellowship, inter-subsidy education loan, free coaching, and a scheme for providing education in Madarsa minorities.

Kharge remarks that the Gov is not ready to empower the minorities economically or educationally.

Kharge says the Gov allocated 2608 crore budget for Minorities in which 1,576 crores remains unspent. In 2024, 18,274 crores were allocated out of which 3574 was unspent money.

Kharge says some 18 crores were allocated to the Ministry of Minorities for 5 years out of which apprx 3,500 crores were not spent. He adds that the Gov continues to decrease the budget of the Ministry of Minorities.
