The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held on 01st July, 2025, has approved the proposal for appointment of the following Judicial Officers, as Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad:
- Shri Pramod Kumar Srivastava-II,
- Shri Santosh Rai, and
- Shri Zafeer Ahmad
As of July 4, the HC is working with only 84 judges (including the Chief Justice), despite having a sanctioned strength of 160.
