Essential Qualification and Experience

• Possessing a Law Degree, Legal and Magisterial experience.

• A Person who has held any post in Higher Judicial Service or State Judicial Service and retired or resigned or

• Who has held a post in the Judicial Ministerial Service not below the rank of Superintendent (Category-Ill), and has a Law Degree, or

• Who has held a post of Section Officer and above in the High Court Service and has Law Degree, or

• A non-practicing Advocate with a practice at the Bar of not less than five years and who is above 45 years of age (must file a certificate of voluntary suspension of practice issued by the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana) or

• Any retired Gazetted Officer possessing Law Degree or who has passed the Criminal Judicial Test (Full test consisting of Indian Penal Code), the Criminal Judicial Test (Full test consisting of Criminal Procedure Code) conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission and who has exercised Magisterial powers during his/her tenure of service for not less than three years.
