Singhania & Co. acted as legal counsel for Value Angels Investment Trust (“VAIT”), an early stage Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) in relation to their investment in Urbanaut Technologies Private Limited (“Company”).
The transaction aligns with VAIT's objective, inter alia, of investing in innovation-driven startups such as the Company. The Company is engaged in the business of operating and maintaining a discovery platform which provides the end users with a resource to find, save, plan, book and share experiences across specific cities and regions. The platform also provides suppliers with a booking management and ticketing system to run bookings for experiences and events thereby making it a seamless process for the end users.
S&Co. advised VAIT on the entire transaction, including the due diligence of the Company, drafting and vetting of the transaction documents, secretarial compliances and closing actionables in relation to the investment.
