HPNLU Rotaract Club Hosts Freshers' Orientation & International Literacy Day

The Rotaract Club of Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Vice-Chancellor, HPNLU, conducted its Orientation Session on 8th September 2025.

The session served as an introduction for newly inducted members to the objectives, avenues, and spirit of Rotaract. It emphasized the Club's core values of service, leadership, and community engagement, encouraging students to actively contribute towards social change and civic responsibility.

In commemoration of International Literacy Day, the event concluded with all members solemnly taking a Literacy Pledge, reaffirming their dedication to the cause of education and their commitment to raising awareness about the significance of literacy in fostering an inclusive and empowered society. The event was organized by Coordinator Dr. Hari Chand Thakur.
