NLU Odisha LexTech Opens TechTales Season 3 With Abhishek K. Singh

LexTech: Centre for Law, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, National Law University Odisha, has announced the release of a new episode of its talk series “TechTales: From Code to Courtroom”. The episode marks the commencement of Season 3 and features Mr. Abhishek K. Singh, Partner at Luthra & Luthra, and an alumnus of Harvard Law School and NALSAR.

TechTales is the Centre's talk series, designed to bring industry experts into dialogue with students on themes such as Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Data Privacy, Online Gaming, and related domains. Since its inception, the initiative has established NLU Odisha as the first National Law University to engage with these intersections of law, business, and technology.

The sessions are conducted virtually via platforms such as Google Meet and streamed to the wider student body. Each session is interactive in nature and concludes with a question-and-answer round, enabling participants to directly engage with the invited experts.

Mr.Abhishek K. Singh is an authority in internet and technology laws, with a track record as a litigator. He appears before the Supreme Court of India and arbitral tribunals, representing clients in complex matters. His expertise encompasses platform regulation, intermediary liability, and data privacy. He has defended leading technology companies, including Google Pay, in a regulatory and privacy case, and a major social media platform in one of India's earliest writ petitions challenging account suspension under terms of service. As a former visiting faculty member at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru and a Partner at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, he has shared his knowledge of platform regulation and intermediary liability, shaping the next generation of legal minds in the field of technology law.
