Singh, referring to a document he received as a member of JPC , says the BJP Gov in 2020 before the Supreme Court stated in an affidavit that 99% of the waqf property has been digitised. He questions why the Gov now wants to ask for documents? the only reason could be that they want to create unrest in society.

Md Naimul Haque (AITC) says the Bill is against basic structure, anti-federal and violates fundamental rights as it tries to define what waqf is and tries to change the nature of its religious character.

Hussain refers to the Places by Worship Act and says except the Ayodhya temple, everything else was kept out of it, but now, the Gov is trying to find reasons to create riots in the country

Hussain questions omission of waqf by user. He says that the only proof of such properties is that they exist even today and has been in long usage. There is waqf by user, temple by user, and church by user..he asks what will happen to year-old properties where no proof of its documentary evidence exists.

Hussain also clarifies that as against the claims made by Rijiju that there were two members in the tribunal and they increased it to three, in 2013, there were three members. He points out that in 2025 Bill, the member must either be serving or retired judge, whereas, in 2013, the member could only be a serving judge.

Hussain says the Gov has been filing petitions in the court against the Places of Worship Act to find temples beneath the mosque. He adds that while other countries are progressing, the Indian Gov is trying to go back in history.

Hussain alleges that since the Gov got to know that most people are against the Bill, they invited non-stakeholders for the first time in the JPC who were not related to waqf or had no knowledge about it. He says there were some people who made extremely communal statements in the JPC meetings.
