New Delhi – The Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), under the aegis of the High Court of Delhi, will host the third edition of the Delhi Arbitration Weekend (DAW) from 18 to 21 September 2025, bringing together global leaders in arbitration – from jurists and practitioners to institutional heads and policymakers.
The inaugural session will feature the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India, Mr. Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, as Chief Guest, a keynote address by Mr. Stephen Gageler AC, Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, and a welcome address by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi.
Over four days, DAW 2025 will explore cutting-edge themes such as Environmental Concerns in Investor–State Dispute Settlement, AI and Technology in Dispute Resolution, and Safeguarding Arbitral Integrity, alongside increased participation from major arbitral institutions including SIAC, LCIA, ICC, and PCA.
Pre-conference activities (15–17 September) will offer specialised training, debates, and networking hosted by leading organisations such as the Vienna International Arbitral Centre, HKIAC, IBA, Fountain Court Chambers, AAA–ICDR, Arbitral Women, and top law firms, covering topics from cross-examination techniques to fraud prevention in arbitration.
The event will conclude with a keynote by Gary Born, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, a Presidential Address by Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon'ble Minister of State, Law and Justice, and a Valedictory Address by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India.
