Centre For Law & Economics DNLU To Organise National Workshop On A Guide To Writing Reasearch Papers

Centre for Law & Economics, Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) Jabalpur in collaboration with Erudite legal, New Delhi is organising a National Workshop on the theme "From Idea to Publication: A Practical Guide to Writing Research Papers" on 11th October 2025 in online mode via Google Meet.

In present academic and professional settings, conversion of a research concept to a well-organized and publishable research paper is a fundamental skill for students, researchers, and academicians. This workshop has been planned to meet the challenges encountered in conceptualization, literature review, research design, writing, referencing, responding to referees, and following ethical guidelines in research.

The overall aim of the workshop is to give participants systematic guidance on the whole research and publication process from choosing a topic and developing a research question to writing, editing, and publishing their work effectively. Some of the main themes are writing skills for academicians, research methodology, referencing skills, publication process understanding, and maintaining scholarship integrity. Significantly, the workshop also employs assessment-based evaluation, where participants get to try their learning outcomes and apply practical knowledge to their research writing.

The workshop will include sessions with experts, interactive discussions, and sharing of resources to provide participants with hands-on experience in the best of academic writing practices. Upon completion of the program, participants will have practical know-how on enhancing their research output, addressing journal requirements, and making contributions to scholarly literature.

The event is open to students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, research scholars, young academicians, and professionals who wish to develop their research writing skills.
