Karnataka State Legal Services Authority Launches '90-Day Mediation Drive' To Settle Pending Cases In Courts Across State

Karnataka State Legal Services Authority on July 1 launced a special campaign–"Mediation For the Nation"–which is a 90-day intensive drive to settle pending cases in High Court/all District and Taluka Mediation Centres throughout the State through Mediation.
As per a press release issued by KSLSA, the campaign is being conducted as per the directions of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and Mediation Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) between 01.07.2025 to 07.10.2025.
Matrimonial Disputes, Accident Claims, Domestic Violence, Cheque Bounce, Commercial Disputes. Service Matters, Criminal Compoundable, Consumer Disputes, Debt Recovery Cases, Partition, Eviction Cases, Land Acquisition cases and other suitable Civil Cases may be referred for Mediation.
"The General Public who are interested in resolving their pending disputes through Mediation are requested to approach the nearest Taluka Legal Services Committee or District Legal Services Authority established in respective court premises. For cases pending in High Courts, the litigants can approach the High Court Legal Services Committee established in respective High Courts at Bengaluru/Dharwad and Kalaburagi," the press release states.
