The Kerala High Court has suspended the presiding officer of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Vadakara over allegations of misbehaviour with a woman court staffer in Kozhikkode. He was the Additional District and Sessions Judge of Kozhikkode. Reportedly, he was transferred to Vadakara after the alleged incident came to light.

The decision was taken by the Administrative Committee comprising 4 senior judges of the High Court including the Chief Justice. The decision was taken based on the reports submitted by the Principal District Judge, Kozhikkode regarding the incident. The order said that there were serious allegations of misconduct against the Judge.
