ICA's 3rd International Conference On “Arbitrating Indo-UK Commercial Disputes: Synergizing India-UK Arbitration Practices” [5th June]

This year's edition is particularly significant. The Conference will be inaugurated by the Justice B.R. Gavai, Chief Justice of India, and will have the special addresses by Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of Law & Justice, Government of India, and The Rt. Hon. Lord Briggs, Justice of the UK Supreme Court.

The event will convene by distinguished legal luminaries, eminent policymakers, and international arbitration experts from India and the UK to share perspectives on cross-border dispute resolution and to propagate deeper legal and institutional collaboration. This edition of the ICA Conference comes at an essential time for India-UK relations, as the two nations move forward on their economic partnership through the recently concluded India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The Conference also follows the Bar Council of India's landmark notification dated 14th May 2025, enabling foreign lawyers and law firms to practice foreign law in India on a reciprocal basis.
