The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU), in collaboration with the Centre for Research in International Law (CRIL), has announced the Call for Blogs for the NLIU-CRIL International Law Blog for the academic year 2025-26. This premier platform invites original and unpublished manuscripts to foster academic excellence and promote informed discourse on pressing issues in international law. About NLIU and CRIL

Established in 1997, NLIU, Bhopal, is among India's premier national law universities, recognized for its academic rigor and multidisciplinary approach to legal education. The Centre for Research in International Law (CRIL), a student-run body at NLIU, is dedicated to promoting scholarship in international law and policy through research, writing, and dialogue.

About the Blog & Theme

The NLIU–CRIL International Law Blog serves as a leading platform for professionals, academicians, and students across the globe to engage in critical examination of contemporary developments in international law. The blog encourages authors to revisit established positions and explore emerging issues in fields such as:

Public International Law

Human Rights Law

International Trade and Investment Law

Private International Law

International Criminal Law

International Commercial Law

Submissions may address any contemporary or pertinent development in international law and policy. Interdisciplinary approaches that connect international law with related domains are strongly encouraged.

Submission Requirements

1. The manuscripts must contain a minimum of 1,000 words to maximum 2,000 words. These word limits may be relaxed subject to editorial approval.

2. Co-authorship of a maximum of two authors is permitted.

3. All manuscripts submitted must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism of content as well as that of an idea would lead to the direct rejection of the manuscript. The author(s) of the manuscript bear the responsibility of authorities, facts, or views stated in the manuscript.

4. The use of AI is strictly prohibited. CRIL reserves the right to take down any published blog(s) if instances of AI or plagiarism are discovered at a later stage.

Submission Guidelines

1. Submissions must be made in a word document (.doc or .docx).

2. Title of the manuscript should be formatted to Times New Roman, Bold, Font Size 14, and a center alignment.

3. The main body of the manuscript should be formatted to Times New Roman, Font Size 12 with 1.5 line spacing, and a justified alignment.

4. All references must preferably be made in the form of hyperlinks, linked to keywords, or phrases in the manuscript.

Submission Deadline

The submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

Kindly note that no submissions will be accepted via our Email-ID.

Review Procedure

Each manuscript shall undergo a plagiarism check, and two stages of content review, including the peer-review.
