The Moot Court Committee of Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, is set to host the 3rd CNLU Cyber Law National Moot Court Competition, 2025, to nurture advocacy skills in the field of cyber law. This competition, being organized with Pavan Duggal Associates, a leading law firm specializing in niche area of cyber law and information security, as an academic partner aims to foster legal discourse on emerging challenges in cyberspace.

The competition will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing participants from across the country to engage in rigorous mooting. With the rapid evolution of technology and rapidly increasing cyberspace, there is an urgent need for legal professionals specializing in cybersecurity, data protection, and digital regulations. The 3rd CNLU Cyber Law National Moot Court Competition will provide law students with a unique opportunity to engage with real-world legal issues, refine their research and argumentation skills, and gain insights from esteemed judges and legal practitioners. The moot proposition focuses on pressing issues in cyber law, pushing participants to analyze and debate complex regulatory challenges and legal precedents.

Eligibility & Registration Details

The competition is open to students currently enrolled in a three-year or five-year LL.B. program at institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India. Each institution can register up to two teams, with each team comprising two speakers and one researcher or two speakers only.

The registration fee is INR 4500 per team, and interested participants must complete their registration by 11:59 PM on 9th March 2025.
