SVKM's NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law hosted its convocation ceremony, where Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra, Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Bar Council of India, and Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court urged graduates to prioritise service to society over monetary gains. Speaking as Chief Guest, he outlined the four stages of litigation that first-generation lawyers must navigate, highlighting the perseverance required to succeed in the profession.
Mr. Mishra also stressed the importance of the All India Bar Examination in maintaining professional standards and ensuring only qualified advocates enter the courts. Dean Dr. Durgambini Patel congratulated the graduating batch for their resilience and excellence, noting placements with leading law firms such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan & Co., and JSA.
The event concluded with the Graduate Oath and Sustainability Oath, underscoring the school's commitment to ethical and socially responsible law practice.
